ACP Plans Community Christmas Tree Lighting November 27

OAKWOOD, VA (NOVEMBER 17, 2023) –  The Appalachian College of Pharmacy will host a Community Christmas tree lighting on the ACP campus, Monday, November 27 at 6 p.m.

The community has been invited to gather on the campus as the lights are turned on at the tree in front of McGlothlin Hall.

Christmas carols led by Garden Baptist will be sung. Area residents are encouraged to attend and to bring their families to celebrate the holiday season.

My Cup Runneth Over food truck will be on site, offering hot chocolate and coffee for purchase.

The Appalachian College of Pharmacy is the only three-year Doctor of Pharmacy program in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Founded in 2003, the college accepted its first students in 2005. It is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Its mission is to cultivate a learning community committed to education, community outreach and the professional development of pharmacists. Its graduate pharmacists are now practicing throughout the United States.
