The Mobile Computing Technology Program
ACP utilizes information technology to the fullest extent possible to enhance the learning environment. Our Mobile Computing Technology Program requires all students entering the College for the first time to purchase a tablet PC from the ACP-IT department. Students this year received models that featured the Microsoft XP Tablet Edition SP 2 operating system, wireless capabilities and rugged construction.
Incoming students will need to have intermediate computer skills--opening files and applications as well as entering and formatting text. Networked printers are available in common areas, as are Internet ports and wireless access. Hardware and software support are provided by ACP-IT staff through the help desk, which is available 24 hours a day.
