Message from President James J. Gozzo
As we look forward to our 128th academic year in 2008-09, we reflect on a history in which the College has established a reputation in the medical community as an outstanding educational institution. We continue to explore new opportunities as our academic offerings and facilities expand.
In addition to our continued programmatic growth, in recent years we have added our innovative Pharmaceutical Research Institute and related Center for NanoPharmaceuticals, where scientists and technicians focus on drug discovery and development; a state-of-the-art Pharmacy Practice Laboratory; and the Research Institute for Health Outcomes, focused on high-quality, scientifically sound medical and financial data in health outcomes and pharmacoeconomic research.
Our new Student Center debuted in the 2006-07 academic year at the heart of the expanded ACP campus and has transformed the college experience. We opened our newest residence facility, ACP Holland Suites, at the start of the fall 2007 semester.
At ACP you will find all the essentials for a quality education -- outstanding programs, innovative learning facilities with cutting-edge technology, distinguished faculty and a responsive staff of professionals. Significant research in various areas of interest is also a hallmark of our programs.
As you will discover, ACP offers a first-rate education in a setting rich in history and poised for the future, where you can participate in a variety of cultural and community activities. These attributes are part of a place where educating the individual student continues to be the focus of all our efforts.
