Services and Resources

The following information technology resources are available for you to use as part of your studies at ACP. If you need assistance or need to obtain a username and password for any of the resources, please contact the Help Desk, which is available to handle most of your network, email, or telephone support needs.

Outlook Web Access

Your email address will have the following format:
firstinitialname@acpharm.org (i.e. jdoe@acpharm.org)

Your webmail can be accessed at https://mail.acpharm.org/owa. When logging in for the first time, use the username and password given to you by Information Services. After typing in your credentials you will see your mailbox.

Please make sure you click Log Off on the right-side of the page to end your session. CAUTION: If you close your browser without following this procedure someone else could login to your email. This is especially important in public use areas such as the library.

Changing your Webmail Password

Your password will expire every 90 days, at which time you will be prompted to create a new one. To change your password, go to your email account and choose Options on the left side of the page. Scroll down on the right side of the screen and click Change Password. Type ACP for the domain and your username for the account, followed by the changes for your password. You will need to logon to your email after completing this procedure.

SONIS Web

SONIS is a web-based academic system that is used primarily to record and distribute grades. Students will need to access SONIS to see their current schedule and view updated grades. A user’s guide is available if you need assistance using SONIS.

Moodle

Moodle is ACP’s course management system containing course notes, syllabi, and schedules.

Photocopiers

Copier use is for academic purposes only, and all copiers require a personal identification number (PIN). The college limits the number of copies you can make per semester and a charge will be added to the students account for any overage.

On Campus Dialing Instructions

On-Campus Calls

  • Enter the extension only.
  • For a campus directory, please refer to the Contact Us page or your printed copy of the Student Technology Guide.

 

Local Calls

  • Enter 9 + the local number
  • Local calls include the following prefixes: 244, 259, 498, 530, 531,566, 597, 859, 873, 935, and 991.

 

Long Distance Calls

Phones in public areas such as lounges can only be used for local and toll free numbers. If you need to use a public phone to make a long distance call, you must use a calling card.

IT staff at ACP are always ready to help you with your technology needs. If you need help:

  • connecting to the wireless network,
  • printing on campus,
  • accessing library resources off campus,

or with any other IT-related issue, just contact the Help Desk and someone will get back to you shortly.
