Thunder Ridge is a horse track in Prestonsburg, Kentucky that features harness racing.  With live racing: Friday-Sunday, October 1 to November; Simulcasting: Wednesday-Sunday noon-midnight, Closed Mondays and Tuesday.  The property has one restaurant.  The track is also used for motocross racing during its horse racing off-season.  Thunder Ridge is also the site of the Eastern Kentucky Fair.

Lonesome Pine Raceway is a 3/8 mile asphalt oval that was founded in 1972 by Russell Large and Bill Hall who were businessmen from the Coeburn area.The designs used to build LPIR were far ahead of their time making it one of the finest facilities of its kind anywhere.
