Clinical Faculty Position

Clinical Faculty Position (Oncology)

The Appalachian College of Pharmacy is seeking applicants for a full-time, twelve month, clinical faculty position in oncology at the rank of assistant or associate professor.

The successful applicant will teach in the integrated didactic curriculum, mentor students in the experiential curriculum, and establish a clinical pharmacy practice site in oncology at Clinch Valley Medical Center, a 200-bed acute care facility located in Richlands, Virginia. Additional responsibilities include contributions to service and scholarly pursuits in conformity with the college and department mission.

Qualified candidates must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be eligible for licensure in Virginia. Completion of a PGY-1 residency is preferred and completion of a PGY-2 residency in oncology is highly desired or equivalent pharmacy practice experience in oncology.
