Dr. Crystal Kilgore is an Instructor of Pharmacy Practice and currently the PGY-1 Resident at the Appalachian College of Pharmacy. Her PGY-1 Residency has a Community Pharmacy focus.
Dr. Kilgore earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry in 2002 from Roanoke College in Salem, VA. Prior to attending the Appalachian College of Pharmacy, Dr. Kilgore worked as a chemist and analyst for the City of Roanoke in Roanoke, Virginia. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Appalachian College of Pharmacy in 2011.
Dr. Kilgore is an active member of the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (ASHP), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), and National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA). Her professional interests include preventative healthcare, medication therapy management, ambulatory care, and diabetes management. She has a passion for serving the underserved people of rural regions.
In her free time, Dr. Kilgore enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities such as running, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing. She is a life-long resident of Southwestern Virginia and currently resides in St. Paul, Virginia.
