My general research interest is the application of biochemical, cellular, and morphological methods to physiological and pathophysiological questions. In addition, I am interested in the use of the research laboratory as a teaching environment. It is my philosophy that students can best learn Science by doing it. Therefore, my research interests are strongly tied to my educational interests.
