Research Interests:
My primary research interest is Irish Literature, in particular the literature that has grown out of the 20th Century between independence from England in 1922 and entrance into the European Union in 1973. The Irish identity in Irish-American literature is a related interest. Secondary areas of research include Shakespeare and Chaucer.
