128th Commencement
FRIDAY,
MAY 9
EXIT INTERVIEWS
Financial Aid exit interviews will be conducted from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in SC 202. Please bring your driver's license, as the Federal Government requires this as proof of identification.
CLASS PICTURE
Class Pictures will be taken at 2:00 p.m. following the exit interviews. Please report to the Albert M. White Gymnasium.
REHEARSAL
Graduation rehearsal will be held on Friday, May 9 at 2:30 p.m. in the Albert M. White Gymnasium. Please report directly to the Gym for line up, where caps and gowns will be available and hoods for BS students. Students are expected to attend rehearsal so that the order of march and the entire ceremony will be known to all.
CLASS OF 2008 Hooding and Awards Ceremony
For Pharm.D. students
Mark your calendar for this event which will be held on Friday, May 9 th , 6 pm, in the Albert M. White Gymnasium. You will receive your hood at this ceremony, which must be worn to Commencement on Sunday. Watch for e-mail announcements.
PHARMACY BOARD REVIEW CLASSES
Review classes are scheduled for Monday through Friday (May 12 through May 16).

Part III of the NYS Pharmacy Board Exam will be held June 3 and 4.
The application deadline for the NYS Boards is due April 1, 2008. There are no extensions.
SUNDAY, MAY 11
COMMENCEMENT
Empire State Plaza Convention Center
2:00 p.m.
Graduation exercises will take about two hours. Candidates for graduation should be in designated Meeting Room 3 for robing no later than 12:30 p.m.
GUESTS: There is no limit to the number of guests, but we recommend early arrival due to parking and seating arrangements.
COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER
The commencement speaker will be Geno Germano '83, President - U.S. and General Manager for Wyeth.
RECEPTION
Albany College of Pharmacy will host a reception of light refreshments following commencement on the campus grounds.
DIRECTIONS
DIRECTIONS TO THE EMPIRE STATE PLAZA:
From I-787 -- Take 787 toward Albany to Empire State Plaza exit. Watch signs for P-2 North, which will on the right.
From Adirondack Northway (I-87) -- Take Northway South to I-90 East to I-787 South and follow above directions.
From N.Y. Thruway -- Take the thruway toward Albany to Exit 23 (do not use Exit 24) After toll booth, get onto I-787 North and follow above directions.
From the Massachusetts Turnpike -- Proceed west toward Albany to I-90 (Exit B-1) Get on I-787 South (towards downtown Albany) and follow above directions.
DIRECTIONS FROM EMPIRE STATE PLAZA TO ACP:
-- Take right out of parking garage, then right on to South Swan Street. At the secnd traffic light, take a left onto Washington Avenue.
-- Stay to the left. At second traffic light, take a left onto Lark Street.
-- Stay on Lark until it intersects with Madison Avenue (fourth traffic light, Dunkin Donuts will be on the right). Turn right onto Madison Avenue and stay in the left-hand lane.
-- At the second traffic light, turn left onto New Scotland Avenue. Follow New Scotland straight past Albany Medical Center (on the right), the Hilton Garden Inn (on the left) and stay to the left.
-- At the traffic light, turn left onto Holland Avenue.Take your first right onto Notre Dame Drive.
-- Take first right onto Union Drive. Follow around past the parking attendant booth to the parking lot.
PARKING
Parking at the Empire State Plaza will be provided at P-2 (under the Concourse). Although the parking Web site listed below refers to V Lot (Visitor parking), we were informed to use P-2 North for this special event.
